Course: Advanced obedience
When: Commencing 9th January 2013.
Where: St. John's Town of Dalry, Town Hall
Cost: £4.00 per dog, usual free tea, coffee, biscuits.
The advanced obedience dog training course, will cover the following:
- Heel on lead in full control, sit when you halt
- Heel off lead in full control, sit when you halt
- Sit, down, stand in the heel position
- Sit, stay for 2 minutes, handler out of sight
- Down, stay for 10 minutes, handler out of sight
- Stand, stay for 1 minute, handler in sight
- Recall from 10 yards away in any position with finish to heel
- Send away to object (not food)
- Stop on recall to any position
Eric took his National Dog Owners Association certificate over 35 years ago, this was the forerunner to the Kennel Club Training Schemes.
